Johnnie Walker Blonde

Blonde is one of the newest additions to the Johnnie Walker family, marketed explicitly as the lightest Scotch in the lineup and designed for drinkers who find traditional Scotch too heavy, smoky or intense. Matured predominantly in first-fill American oak casks, it leans on soft vanilla and orchard fruit character rather than the pepper, smoke or dried fruit found across the rest of the range. It arrived in India as part of Diageo's push to attract younger, cocktail-first drinkers into the Scotch category, positioned below Gold Label Reserve and above the entry-level Red Label as an approachable, mixable middle ground with its own distinct sunshine-yellow square bottle.
