Indri Trini is aged in three different types of casks — ex-bourbon American oak, PX sherry casks and STR wine casks. Ex-bourbon casks contribute vanilla and caramel. STR stands for Shave, Toast and Re-char — a process of reviving used wine casks by shaving the inner surface to expose fresh wood and then re-toasting it. The whisky is produced at Piccadilly Distilleries in Haryana and domestic distribution is a priority for the brand.
